A Growing Gardener, Abbie Zabar, 1996
Who wrote it: A Growing Gardener is a collection of personal garden essays written, illustrated, and designed by Abbie Zabar, first published by Universe Publishing, a division of Rizzoli International Publications, in 1996.
What it's about: Zabar moves through the seasons of her own gardening life, from staking young trees to snow covered borders, in short illustrated essays paired with her own colored pencil drawings and hand lettered captions.
Condition: Pictorial hardcover, no dust jacket, in clean, tight condition. The book's printed inscription page carries an added handwritten note from a previous owner, "Allow yourself to become what has so graciously been given to you." Please review all photos carefully, and email me with any questions.
Thanks so much for visiting,
❤️ Jess
