Edited by A. Wilmer Duff and contributed to by E. Percival Lewis, Charles E. Mendenhall, Albert P. Carman, and R. K. McClung, this is the fourth (revised) edition published in 1916 as part of Blakiston's Science Series.
The first edition appeared in 1908. Covering the full scope of classical physics at the collegiate level, it stands as a thorough snapshot of physics pedagogy in the early twentieth century.
The plain brown cloth binding shows wear along the spine. Pages are significantly yellowed throughout, consistent with the book's age. A handwritten name is visible on the endpaper. Text and physics diagrams are legible throughout.
