Who wrote it: Alice im Wunderland is a German-language edition of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland, translated by Ingrid Strasser with twenty-two illustrations by Brigitte Seelbach-Caspari, published by Vollmer Verlag of Wiesbaden, circa 1970.
What it's about: This is the classic tale of Alice and her tumble down the rabbit hole into Wonderland, here in a handsome German edition that makes a lovely curiosity for collectors of Alice or of foreign-language books.
Special features: The book is bound in teal cloth and carries twenty-two charming black-and-white drawings by Brigitte Seelbach-Caspari.
Why I like it: I love this German edition for its lovely little black-and-white drawings!
Condition: Teal cloth hardcover with yellow dust jacket, clean and intact with light wear. Please review all photos carefully, and email me with any questions.
Thanks so much for visiting, ❤️ Jess
