Who wrote it: "America's Small Houses: The Personal Homes of Designers and Collectors," by Henry Lionel Williams and Ottalie K. Williams, published by Bonanza Books, a division of Crown Publishers, by arrangement with A.S. Barnes and Co., copyright 1964, an architecture and interior design book.

What it's about: The Williamses profile fifteen real country and town houses belonging to antiquarians, collectors, and designers, from a plantation residence to a converted mill, with black and white photographs of exteriors and richly furnished period interiors. It reads like a tour through mid-century collector taste, meant to be pored over for decorating ideas as much as architecture.

Condition: Blue cloth hardcover with pictorial dust jacket present. The dust jacket shows wear at the spine ends and corners. Please review all photos carefully, and email me with any questions.

Thanks so much for visiting,
❤️ Jess
