Who wrote it: Amorous Fiammetta is a fourteenth-century Italian work by Giovanni Boccaccio, translated with an introduction by Edward Hutton and printed privately for Rarity Press in New York in 1931. It is illustrated and comes with the publisher's original dust jacket.

What it's about: The novel follows Fiammetta through the joy and devastation of an obsessive love affair, an unusually intimate character study for its time. It is often considered an early psychological novel.

Condition: Hardcover with dust jacket. The jacket has moderate wear and some tearing. The book itself is clean. Please review all photos carefully, and email me with any questions.

Thanks so much for visiting,
❤️ Jess
