Antique French Book Bundle in Pink, Purple, and Faded Red With Floral Covers

A romantic set of four antique French books in soft shades of rose pink, blush, magenta, and faded red, with decorative covers stamped in black, gold, and blue. One cover is printed with trailing blue flowers and leaves, another with gilt urns and scrollwork on textured magenta cloth, and the spines are covered in floral and scrolling designs. Their soft, time-worn look is perfect for shabby chic, cottage, French country, or romantic interiors.

Three of the four were published by Alfred Mame et Fils of Tours between 1874 and 1887, and all are filled with detailed engraved illustrations, including Yan' Dargent's dramatic plates in Chasses dans l'Amérique du Nord, a French account of hunting in North America. One book still holds its original school prize label, a first prize in music awarded in July 1913.

The tallest book measures 10.75 inches, and the set takes up approximately 3.5 inches of shelf space.

**Condition**
These books show very heavy wear, including torn and peeling spines, chipped and frayed edges, scuffed and faded covers, and foxing (brown spotting) on the pages. They are best suited for decorative display.
