Antique French Caramel Brown and Gold Leather Book Set

A collection of five antique and vintage French leather books in warm cognac and chestnut brown tones with gilt-tooled spines, bringing rich, old-world color to a library shelf, mantel, or statement stack.

This wide-ranging set spans more than 150 years of French printing and subject matter, from a 1779 volume of Diderot and d'Alembert's Encyclopédie and an 1814 political pamphlet by Comte and Dunoyer, to an 1831 bound volume of the Bulletin des Lois from the reign of Louis-Philippe I, Jeanne Galzy's 1935 novel Les Allongés, and a French translation of Margaret Mitchell's Autant en Emporte le Vent (Gone with the Wind), each bound individually in leather with gilt-tooled spines.

Together they measure approximately 8.5 x 9.25 inches.
