A petite set of three 18th-century French books bound in mottled caramel leather with gilt-tooled spines and marbled boards, perfect for adding warm, aged color to a small shelf, bookcase, or tabletop vignette.

This complete three-volume set collects the works of playwright Jean Galbert de Campistron, member of the Académie Française, in a ‘nouvelle édition’ printed in Paris in 1750, a handsome, pocket-sized example of mid-18th-century French binding.

Together they measure approximately 5.75 x 3.25 inches.
