Who wrote it: Chekhov Plays collects five of Anton Chekhov's major dramas in this 1969 Heron Books edition, with an introduction by Arnold B. McMillin and illustrations by Mette Ivers.

What it's about: The volume gathers Three Sisters, Uncle Vanya, The Cherry Orchard, Ivanov, and The Sea-Gull.

Special features: This edition is part of Heron Books' "Books That Have Changed Man's Thinking" series, bound in a dark green and gilt-tooled gold hardcover, with a frontispiece portrait of Chekhov.

Condition: Green cloth hardcover with gilt-decorated gold boards and no dust jacket, in clean, tight condition; there's a faint small blue ink mark on the front board and light scattered foxing to the page edges. Please review all photos carefully, and email me with any questions.

Thanks so much for visiting,
❤️ Jess
