Who wrote it: This Library of America volume brings together the collected stories of Constance Fenimore Woolson, edited by Anne Boyd Rioux. This is a first printing of this edition, dated 2020.
What it's about: Woolson was one of the most accomplished American writers of the 19th century, praised by Henry James and largely forgotten afterward. This collection makes a compelling case for her rediscovery.
Why I like it: Library of America editions are very collectible and very handsome. This one may be a former library book, but it appears to have never been read.
Condition: Green cloth hardcover with dust jacket; former library copy with library stickers and barcode on jacket. Interior pages clean. Please review all photos carefully, and email me with any questions.
Thanks so much for visiting, ❤️ Jess
