Decorating with House Plants by Ruth Gannon, published in 1952 by The Studio Publications, is a mid-century guide to selecting, caring for, and arranging house plants in the home.
The book covers flowering plants, foliage plants, vines and trailers, bulbs for indoor bloom, orchids, cacti and succulents, gift plants, and plants grown from seed.
Additional chapters address pruning and propagation, soil mixing and feeding, insect control, and decorative use of plants indoors. An appendix includes plant lists organized by type and color, along with sources of supply.
