Dick of Copper Gap by Brother Ernest, C.S.C., published by St. Anthony Guild Press, sixth printing, 1954.

This is a Catholic boys' novel set in the mountain community of Copper Gap, once a busy mining town and now a half-forgotten outpost of country folk scraping a life from the land.

Illustrated throughout with black-and-white drawings.

Condition: Sage green cloth hardcover with blue stamped title and horse-and-sleigh vignette on front board. Boards show light general wear with some fraying at the top of the spine. Interior pages show light age toning; binding is firm. A solid and attractive copy of a scarce regional Catholic boys' title.
