Who wrote it: Eight Cousins is Louisa May Alcott's 1875 novel, offered here in a 1927 Little, Brown edition from the Beacon Hill Bookshelf series with a color pictorial paste-on cover.
What it's about: It follows orphaned Rose Campbell as she's taken in by her seven boisterous boy cousins and an eccentric uncle, a lively, warm coming-of-age story typical of Alcott's best work.
Condition: Black cloth hardcover with color pictorial paste-on illustration, no dust jacket, light wear to the corners. The front flyleaf carries a gift inscription dated 1928. Please review all photos carefully, and email me with any questions.
Thanks so much for visiting,
❤️ Jess
