Who wrote it: Extinct Birds is by Errol Fuller, this revised edition published by Comstock Publishing Associates, a division of Cornell University Press, in 2001.
What it's about: The book documents the birds the world has lost, species by species, from the dodo and great auk to the moa, gathering history, accounts, and artwork in one substantial volume.
Special features: The book is illustrated throughout with color plates and historical artwork of the extinct birds.
Why I like it: I love any book about birds, and this is one I've never seen before!
Condition: Hardcover with dust jacket; the jacket shows edge wear and wigns of water, and the maroon cloth boards and interior are clean. Please review all photos carefully, and email me with any questions.
Thanks so much for visiting, ❤️ Jess
