Who wrote it: The Four Seasons is the 1980 cookbook from Tom Margittai and Paul Kovi, owners of the legendary Four Seasons restaurant in New York, published by Simon and Schuster with design by George Lois and photographs by Gilles Larrain.
What it's about: The book collects 250 original recipes from the restaurant alongside essays on food, wine, and elegant entertaining, capturing the confident glamour of one of New York's most celebrated dining rooms.
Special features: Tributes from famous patrons, including Betty Ford, Gerald Ford, and other notable guests, are reproduced in blue script throughout the recipe pages, a design touch that turns the cookbook into something of a scrapbook of the restaurant's history.
Condition: Tan cloth hardcover with dust jacket; jacket shows some soiling near the spine and light wear at the corners. Please review all photos carefully, and email me with any questions.
Thanks so much for visiting,
❤️ Jess
