The covers are rich crimson red leatherette with deeply embossed gold scrollwork, a bold black label band with gold lettering at the center, and the Harvard VERITAS shield stamped in gold at the base of each spine.

Open any volume and the drama continues: gorgeous red, black, and gold marbled endpapers. This is the Fifty-First Printing (1959), published by P. F. Collier & Son Corporation.
