The Hawk of Egypt is a novel by Joan Conquest, published by The Macaulay Company in New York in 1922. Conquest, known also for Desert Love and Leonie of the Jungle, wrote exotic desert romances in the vein of E.M. Hull's The Sheik, and this Egyptian-set novel is among her most striking productions. The volume includes a frontispiece illustration by G.W. Gage.

Navy cloth hardcover with striking gilt Egyptian hawk design; covers in good condition with minor wear. Inscription dated April 1924 on front endpaper, with ownership stamp. Please review all photos carefully, and email me with any questions.
