Who wrote it: House and Home is a Lippincott's Home Manuals textbook by Greta Gray, edited by Benjamin R. Andrews, Ph.D., first copyrighted in 1923 with this Second Edition, Revised copyrighted in 1927, part of a home economics series aimed at students of practical house planning.
What it's about: Subtitled "A Manual and Text-Book of Practical House Planning," it walks through every stage of building a home, from choosing a location and drawing plans to plumbing, heating, lighting, exterior and interior design, and even town planning, illustrated with 189 photographs and diagrams.
Condition: Tan cloth hardcover with striped and stamped decoration, no dust jacket, with visible fraying at the spine ends and toning to the text block. Please review all photos carefully, and email me with any questions.
