This copy is bound in green cloth with black stamped decoration and gilt spine titling typical of Lippincott’s early 1870s bindings. Interior pages show age toning and a previous owner’s signature on the front endpaper, but the text remains clean and legible. A solid and decorative 19th-century example of Warner’s popular fiction.
