Joseph is a beautifully illustrated children's picture book written by the Swiss author Max Bolliger and illustrated by Edith Schindler, originally published in German by Otto Maier Verlag Ravensburg in 1967 and translated into English by Marion Koenig.
This is the Second American Printing of May 1971. Bolliger's retelling of the biblical story of Joseph is paired with illustrations that evoke the ancient world.
Condition: The tan and cream cloth boards feature a green embossed illustration of a child on the front cover, in clean condition with light age toning. This is a library copy with library pocket and stamps present. Interior pages are clean and bright, with full-spread color illustrations in excellent condition throughout.
