L'Abeille Littéraire, Revue des Feuilletons, Tome II, July 1845, French

Who wrote it: L'Abeille Littéraire, Revue des Feuilletons, was a Paris literary magazine published from the Place du Marché-Saint-Honoré. This is Tome II, beginning July 1845.

What it's about: Serialized stories, travels, poetry, and fashion collected from the French feuilletons of the day, including verse by Alphonse de Lamartine and fiction by Jules Sandeau. A slice of Paris reading life in the July Monarchy.

Special features: Wood engraved illustrations and hand colored fashion plate, with marbled endpapers.

Condition: Quarter leather with gilt spine tooling and marbled paper boards; boards heavily rubbed with paper loss, spine worn and chipped at the head, corners worn, foxing and some staining throughout. Please review all photos carefully, and email me with any questions.

Thanks so much for visiting,
❤️ Jess
