Written by Wilma Pitchford Hays and illustrated by Wesley Dennis, Little Hurricane Happy was published in its First American Edition by Little, Brown & Company in 1965. Dennis was one of the best animal illustrators of his generation, known especially for his work on the Marguerite Henry horse books.

This cute book is about Happy, a dolphin who encounters a hurricane and navigates the aftermath of the storm at sea.
