Who wrote it: Little Toot on the Thames is a children's picture book written and illustrated by Hardie Gramatky, published in 1964. This copy is the sixth impression.
What it's about: The plucky little tugboat Little Toot crosses the ocean to London, where he chugs up the Thames past Big Ben and Tower Bridge on a new adventure. It is a follow-up to the classic Little Toot.
Special features: Gramatky's lively watercolor illustrations fill the book, including a map of London on the endpapers.
Why I like it: I love this one because it is just adorable, and I like the scenes of London.
Condition: Pictorial hardcover, a former school library copy with a checkout card pocket in the back and light shelf wear; the pages are clean and bright. Please review all photos carefully, and email me with any questions.
Thanks so much for visiting, ❤️ Jess
