The Wonderful Career of Moody and Sankey chronicles the revival campaigns of evangelist Dwight L. Moody and singer Ira Sankey, written by Rev. Robert Boyd, D.D., and published in 1875. The spine carries the alternate title The Trials and Triumphs of Faith.
The Moody and Sankey revivals of the 1870s were among the largest religious gatherings of the nineteenth century, drawing enormous crowds on both sides of the Atlantic. This contemporary account is a first-hand document of one of the era's most consequential religious movements.
Dark green cloth hardcover with elaborate black and gold embossed Victorian decorative design; gilt spine lettering. Boards show light wear and aging consistent with a book of this date. Please review all photos carefully, and email me with any questions.
