What it's about: The story follows Nanek, a young Native American boy, through the seasons of hunting, travel, and daily life with his family, a fictionalized but detailed look at Plains life before European settlement.

Condition: Tan cloth hardcover with a pictorial paste on cover, showing soiling and shelf wear typical of a former library book.
