This rare Temple Edition De Luxe of the Complete Works of Charles Dickens, published by John D. Morris and Company (Philadelphia, early 1900s), is a subscriber-only limited edition, numbered 173 of 1000 sets. Beautifully bound in dark blue cloth with original printed paper spine labels, this set features illustrations by Hablot K. Browne (“Phiz”), Dickens’ most famous illustrator. The edition was designed for serious collectors and admirers of Dickens, printed on fine paper with wide margins and decorative title pages. This set includes 15 out of 20 volumes and is a partial set.

**Condition**

Please see photos. A couple books have water stains on paper labels. One book has a significant tear on the spine.
