Barrows, Edith Putnam Parker, and Clarence Woodrow Sorensen was part of the Silver Burdett "Man in His World: Essential Elementary Geography" series, beautifully illustrated by Milo Winter. Designed to broaden young readers' understanding of different cultures, climates, and landscapes, it covers farming, trade, and the customs of peoples on every continent. It was adopted for use by the State of Kansas.
This hardcover is intact with only minor shelf wear. Interior pages are in good condition and include vibrant full-color illustrations that bring the world's peoples and places to life. No significant soiling, writing, or damage was observed.
