Peter by Juliska Daru and Charlotte Lederer, illustrated by Charlotte Lederer and published by E. P. Dutton & Co., Inc. in 1931. This is the second printing, also dated July 1931, and carries a printed birthday bookplate from "The Franco Club" pasted to the front endpaper, along with a penciled ownership inscription at the top of the flyleaf.
The sage green cloth boards are clean and presentable with only light wear at spine ends and corners. Interior pages are lightly toned but clean, with a small tear to the top corner of the copyright page; text and illustrations fully intact.
