**Who wrote it**
Raymond Chandler: Stories and Early Novels is Library of America volume 79, edited by Frank MacShane and published in 1995. This is the tenth printing. It collects Chandler's pulp magazine fiction alongside his first three novels: The Big Sleep, Farewell My Lovely, and The High Window.

**What it's about**
Everything Chandler wrote before he became Raymond Chandler, plus the novels that made him famous. For anyone who loves noir, hard-boiled fiction, or Los Angeles history, this is an essential shelf book.

**Why I like it**
Library of America editions are beautifully made and look wonderful on a shelf. This one appears to have barely been read.

**Condition**
Navy blue cloth hardcover; no dust jacket. Small mark on lower front board. Interior clean and tight. Please review all photos carefully, and email me with any questions.

Thanks so much for visiting,
❤️ Jess
