Who wrote it: Remembrance of Things Past is Marcel Proust's monumental novel in the C. K. Scott Moncrieff translation, published by Random House in this two volume boxed set.

What it's about: The narrator moves through childhood, love, and memory across the volumes Swann's Way, Within a Budding Grove, The Guermantes Way, Cities of the Plain, The Captive, The Sweet Cheat Gone, and The Past Recaptured.

Special features: This is the complete novel in two volumes, housed together in the original cardboard slipcase.

Condition: Tan cloth hardcovers in a matching slipcase; the slipcase shows old tape residue, staining, and wear, and the cloth has a small tear at one spine corner. The books have plastic covers that have been taped on but that does not cover the spines. Please review all photos carefully, and email me with any questions.
