Who wrote it: Sea Shells of the World: A Guide to the Better-Known Species by R. Tucker Abbott, under the editorship of Herbert S. Zim, illustrated by George and Marita Sandstrom, published by Golden Press in 1962.
What it's about: A full color guide to 562 of the world's sea shells, written by one of the great names in American malacology and arranged for easy identification by collectors.
Why I like it: I love Golden Guides and find them some of the most fun books to explore, collect, and put to use.
Condition: Gold softcover Golden Nature Guide with some shelf wear; pages clean. Please review all photos carefully, and email me with any questions.
Thanks so much for visiting, ❤️ Jess
