This set of two vintage See-Saw Books includes Mickey’s Magnet by Franklyn M. Branley and Eleanor K. Vaughan and The Little Fish That Got Away by Bernadine Cook, both illustrated by Crockett Johnson.

Designed for early readers, these mid-century titles combine simple storytelling with Johnson’s distinctive line illustrations.

Mickey’s Magnet is a sixth printing from April 1970, and The Little Fish That Got Away is a seventh printing from August 1966.

Condition
Both books are softcover and show noticeable wear consistent with age and use, including surface wear, creasing, edge wear, and scuffing to the covers. Mickey’s Magnet has writing and marks on the cover and interior, along with staple binding wear. The Little Fish That Got Away shows creasing, edge wear, and interior impressions visible on the title page. Pages are intact and readable in both volumes.
