Who wrote it: Small Arms Firing Manual is a 1913 field manual issued by the United States War Department, Office of the Chief of Staff, printed by the Government Printing Office in 1914.
What it's about: The manual sets out rifle and pistol marksmanship instruction for the Regular Army and Organized Militia, covering sighting drills, known distance practice, and combat fire, with dispersion charts and target plates throughout.
Condition: Hardcover in orange cloth with gilt titling to the spine and front cover, corners and spine ends lightly worn. Interior pages are clean, with the fold out plates intact. Please review all photos carefully, and email me with any questions.
