The Art of the Healer by Bernard Aschner, M.D., translated from the German by Ruth and Heinz Norden and published by The Dial Press of New York in 1942, is a work of medical philosophy arguing for a return to constitutional and holistic approaches in modern medicine.
Drawing on centuries of medical history and Aschner's own extensive clinical practice, the book challenges the over-specialization of contemporary medicine and champions traditional therapies.
The dark cloth boards show wear and light fading, with some scuffing at the spine ends. Heavy underlining throughout. Interior pages are otherwise clean with light age toning. Binding is secure and all pages are intact.
