Who wrote it: The Evolution of Man is a collection of nonfiction lectures delivered before the Yale Chapter of Sigma Chi in 1921 and 1922, contributed by Yale faculty including Richard Swann Lull, Harold Ferris, George Howard Parker, James Rowland Angell, Albert Galloway Keller, and Edwin Grant Conklin, published by Yale University Press in 1922.
What it's about: The lectures survey evolutionary theory from multiple angles, including paleontology, psychology, sociology, and genetics, offering a snapshot of how early twentieth century scientists made the case for evolution to a general audience.
Condition: Green cloth hardcover with gilt spine lettering, no dust jacket, a previous owner's pencil price notation on the front pastedown. Please review all photos carefully, and email me with any questions.
Thanks so much for visiting,
❤️ Jess
