This is a very rare set of two books together: The Finer Cooking and The Finer Cooking: Recipes by X.M. Boulestin. 

The first book contains the recipes and the second book is a more comprehensive guide to hosting and planning a menu. 

Xavier Marcel Boulestin was a French chef, restaurateur, and the author of cookery books that popularized French cuisine in the English-speaking world.

Both books are in good condition.
