Who wrote it: This is the I Ching, or Book of Changes, in the classic Richard Wilhelm translation rendered into English by Cary F. Baynes, with a foreword by C. G. Jung, published by Princeton University Press in the Bollingen Series. This is the nineteenth printing, from 1983.
What it's about: The I Ching is the ancient Chinese book of divination and wisdom, and the Wilhelm/Baynes edition is the version that introduced it to generations of Western readers. It is the standard English text.
Why I like it: This is an important book, and I love finding titles in the Bollingen series. If you ever wanted to understand the I Ching, this is the one to teach you.
Condition: Yellow cloth hardcover with dust jacket; the jacket shows light wear, the binding is solid, and the interior is clean. Please review all photos carefully, and email me with any questions.
Thanks so much for visiting, ❤️ Jess
