Written by John G. Fuller and published by The Dial Press in New York in 1966, with an introduction by psychiatrist Benjamin Simon, M.D., this is the original published account of Betty and Barney Hill's reported experience in September 1961, in which the couple described losing two hours of time while driving through New Hampshire and recalled, under hypnosis, a close encounter with a UFO and its occupants.
Fuller's book was the first serious journalistic treatment of what became the most widely discussed abduction case in American UFO history, written close enough to the events to capture the Hills themselves with clarity, before the story had accumulated the mythology it would attract in later decades.
Tan and blue dust jacket present but heavily worn and stained; cloth binding beneath the jacket clean and sound. Book Club Edition. Please review all photos carefully, and email me with any questions.
