The Monster and the Tailor: A Ghost Story, retold and illustrated by Paul Galdone, was published by Clarion Books in 1982. Based on a traditional Scottish folktale, it follows a poor tailor summoned to sew lucky trousers at the Duke's castle, a task that requires spending the night alone in a graveyard with terrifying consequences.

This is a former library copy. No dust jacket is present. Library stamps appear on the title page and interior; a barcode label and date due slip are on the rear endpaper. Interior pages are clean and illustrations are vivid throughout. Binding solid.
