Who wrote it: The Pictorial Key to the Tarot is a nonfiction esoteric work by Arthur Edward Waite, illustrated with designs by Pamela Colman Smith, published by University Books. This copy is a third printing dated January 1966.
What it's about: Waite's guide explains the symbolism and divinatory meanings of the seventy-eight card Tarot deck he co-created with Smith, the deck that remains the most widely used Tarot design in the world.
