Who wrote it: The Pilgrim's Progress is John Bunyan's 1678 Christian allegory, presented here in a 1933 edition from Universal Book and Bible House in Philadelphia, with more than fifty illustrations by Frederick Barnard and others.

What it's about: It follows the pilgrim Christian on his journey from the City of Destruction to the Celestial City, one of the most published and most translated works in the English language.

Special features: The volume includes more than fifty illustrations, including color plates, that bring Bunyan's allegorical figures and landscapes vividly to life.

Condition: Blue cloth hardcover; no dust jacket, with moderate wear and fading to the cover. Interior pages show foxing and water staining, most noticeable near the top edges of a color plate and the adjoining title page. Please review all photos carefully, and email me with any questions.
