The Prelude or Growth of a Poet's Mind by William Wordsworth, edited from the manuscripts by Ernest de Selincourt and with the Second Edition revised by Helen Darbishire, published at the Clarendon Press, Oxford in 1959, is the standard scholarly edition of Wordsworth's great autobiographical epic poem.

The Prelude, which Wordsworth worked on throughout his life but never published, is a vast meditation on the formation of the poetic mind, the growth of consciousness, and the relationship between nature, memory, and imagination.

This is an ex-library copy from the S.I.U. Undergraduate Library at Southern Illinois University, with library stamps on the page edges and a call number label on the spine. The navy cloth boards are clean overall. The binding is solid. Interior pages show light age toning throughout.
