The Scribner Music Library is a multi-volume home music reference set published by Charles Scribner’s Sons. Volumes 7 and 8 cover Opera & Sacred Music and Favorite Songs respectively, providing both piano arrangements and vocal scores drawn from classical and popular repertoire, with each volume designed for home performance and musical education.
These volumes were published by Charles Scribner’s Sons, New York, in the mid-1950s. Both dust jackets are present and feature charming folk-art style illustrations in a warm color palette.
The red cloth boards are in good condition. Both dust jackets are present though showing shelf wear with some edge rubbing and small tears. The interior pages are clean with light toning consistent with age. Sold as a set of two volumes.
