This is a very rare hardcover copy of The Story of Bayard, based on Histoire du Bon Chevalier Bayard" by the "Loyal Serviteur". This edition is edited by Amy G. Andrewes and was published by John Lane Company in 1910. 

The book is a biography of the life of Pierre Terrail, seigneur de Bayard, who was a famous French knight known for his skill in battle and chivalrous conduct. The book was written by Bayard's secretary, believed to be named Jaques de Mailles.
