Spans everything from Archimedes on "Poppies and the Universe," Lewis Carroll's logical nonsense, Descartes on Geometry, J.B.S. Haldane's On Being the Right Size, Ronald A. Fisher's The Mathematics of a Lady Tasting Tea, and Von Neumann's classic Theory of Games.

The four volumes are bound in slate blue cloth with copper gilt lettering and are housed in the original illustrated slipcase. Books are solid and intact. The slipcase shows honest wear consistent with age, rubbing and scuffing to corners and edges, with some fraying along the spine panel.
