Tilly Witch is a Halloween picture book by Don Freeman, the beloved author and illustrator best known for Corduroy. Originally published in 1969, this Picture Puffin paperback edition features Freeman's signature expressive, loose illustration style in bold watercolor and ink.
The story follows Tilly Ipswitch, the Queen of Halloween, who on one bright moonlit night is suddenly overcome with an uncharacteristic urge to be kind to everyone.
Condition: Good. Softcover (paperback) in the Picture Puffin imprint. The cover shows moderate wear including a vertical crease down the front and general handling wear consistent with age. Interior pages are age-toned but clean and intact
