What it's about: The book gathers memorable quotations from American history, each paired with one of Lawson's pen and ink illustrations, opening with an eagle frontispiece, a patriotic anthology published in the middle of the Second World War.
Special features: Gilt stamped spine lettering, along with full and half page pen and ink illustrations by Lawson throughout.
